What's New for 2024
For 2024, the Defender 90 trim lineup has been streamlined, with the X and SE trims being dropped. The remaining trims, there are four of them, are unchanged.

Adventure-Ready Engineering
Beneath the hood of the Defender 90 lies your choice of either a standard P300 turbocharged four-cylinder or available P400 six-cylinder Mild-Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) powertrain. P300 powertrains take advantage of a cutting-edge twin-school turbocharger for responsive power delivery. The P400 MHEV can recapture energy typically lost during deceleration, so this power can be redeployed to enhance performance. You can also upgrade to the muscular 5.0L P525 Supercharged V8 to enjoy a robust 518 horsepower. Regardless of engine choice, you can take advantage of a standard eight-speed ZF® automatic transmission and twin-speed transfer box. Further bolstering the capability of the Defender 90 is its availability to tow up to 8,201 pounds along with its available Advanced Tow Assist function. Available across the Defender 90 range is the Configurable Terrain Response® system, giving you the flexibility to adjust the setup of the vehicle to match the conditions. A fully-independent suspension, twin-speed transfer box, and permanent four-wheel drive proves that nothing will stand between you and your next adventure with the Defender 90.
Bold Exterior
In keeping with tradition, the Defender 90 can be customized with an impressive array of bold exterior colors and accents to match your own unique personality. Examples include Fuji White, Eiger Grey, Santorini Black, and Indus Silver along with heritage color choices like Tasman Blue, Pangea Green and Gondwana Stone. You’ll also have your choice of a total of 12 wheel designs spanning from 18-inch white-painted pressed steel wheels to commanding 22-inch Luna alloy wheels. For greater durability and protection to the exterior, you can also opt for an optional factory-fitted Satin Protective Film. Choose from four Accessory Packs for a look that’s tailored to your exact preferences.
