About the Columbus Humane Society

Established in 1883, the Columbus Humane Society is dedicated to fighting against animal cruelty, advocating for the wellness of animals, and caring for animals in need. This effort is made possible by more than 450 people dedicating nearly 35,000 hours per year to taking care of animals. A hard-working team of staff and volunteers are responsible for providing love and support to animals in need. Providing adoption, health, and activism services to the local community – Columbus Humane is committed to protecting animals.
