If you need to carry more than 5 passengers, the Discovery is the better choice thanks to its standard 5+2 seating configuration. Both come standard with identical 2.0L P300 Gas i4 engines producing the same power figures. However, there are some key differences between the available engine upgrades.

Discovery Dynamic SE models have an available P360 inline 6-cylinder producing 355 horsepower. Stepping up to the Defender 110 Dynamic SE means you’ll also receive an upgraded inline 6-cylinder engine. This one also comes with a mild hybrid system, but output is a bit higher, with a total of 395 horsepower. There’s also a muscular 5.0-liter supercharged V8 available on the Defender 110 for maximum performance.
